Chithirai Thiruvizha is being celebrated every year in
Madurai during the month of April. It is one of the longest celebrations of the
world and lasts for one month. For the celebration, the first half of the month
is for Meenakshi Amman and the remaining half is for Kallazhagar.
A great place in Madurai. Madurai is the oldest and Second Largest City in Tamil Nadu. It is situated on the bank of the river Vaigai. Madurai is the birth place of ‘Tamil’, which is one of the oldest languages in the world. It is a pilgrimage centre and a gateway to south Tamilnadu. It has the world famous Sri Meenakshi Amman Temple at its core. The city has grown on both sides of the river Vaigai.

Palani Murugan Abhishekam
Abhishekam is the process of pouring of libations on the idol of the deity being worshipped amidst the chanting of mantras. Usually, Abhishekam is performed using milk, yogurt, ghee, honey, Panchamrutam, sesame oil, rosewater, sandalwood paste, and/or Thiruneeru (vibhuti).
